Brief profile: CEREBRAL PALSY GREECE/OPEN DOOR is a registered charity that was founded in 1972 with the overall aim of developing welfare services for people suffering from cerebral palsy in Greece.
The Open Door Centre provides a wide range of services, free of charge, for the education, rehabilitation, recreation and social integration of 240 children, teen-agers and adults every day.
As pioneers in the field of cerebral palsy, CPG aims to overcome the social barriers caused by ignorance and prejudice, to support parents and families, to train staff, to enlighten the public and to encourage scientific research, particularly in the field of prevention.
